When shifting between 2 and 3rd gears the turbo booster will go up to 5 and then back down and the engin starts to shake until you shift into 4th gear.When traveling on an Interstate it can get tough going as the vehicle can loose power between 50 and 60. I am wondering if anyone would know it this is a turbo sensor issue or a waste gate problem.

had a a problem like that . It was ignition wire in #2 cylinder. as boost goes up it it is harder for the spark to jump the plug. mine jumped side ways thru the boot.

1991 capri alternator remove ..how can it come out..ac and power streeing line is in the way of remove...no room to tak it out 4 Answers

need to remove the alternator out..but AC and steering line is in the way......no way to get it out trap......

Ok so I have a 93 mercury capri that has no spark. I have replaced the distributor and checked for loose wires and can find none. I let is sit for a few day and it started up ran for a little while and died then would not restart. I am wondering if this is an ECM issue. I have power to the could and coming out but no spark from there it also has fuel. So what tells the distributor to fire? I would assume the ECM? So any advice would be nice. 2 Answers
