Power sliding door not unlatching

Asked by Avi319 Mar 06, 2022 at 04:34 PM about the 2019 Honda Odyssey EX FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2019 Honda Odyssey, and the driver's side, rear sliding door is
not opening. Even if I switch it to manual, the door doesn't seem to be
able to unlatch. It seems like the latch is somehow stuck. I don't even
hear the motor engaging. I removed some of the fuses and even
switched them with the passenger side fuses, but that doesn't seem to
be the issue.

Could you have possibly tripped the latch mechanism when you were last trying to shut the door? See if you can pullout the actuator into the open position and then see if it will work.
