These previous answers are annoying: Just bought a 2020 equinox with fog lights however theres no switch or activation trigger for them. Owners manual shows me what the switch should be. Most likely have to go back to the dealer.

Except if the fog light button has not been installed.

I have the same problem. There is no button there where the owners manual says they are. I can see the fog lights on the front of the vehicle, but no way to turn them on. Haven't been able to get to the dealer.

What a bunch of angry little johnson babies on this site. If this all you have to fill your life...belittling people asking for help.... you are a sad waste. Sorry you were touched and too helpless to do anything; but this anonymous lashing out is cowardice.

I had the same question. They look like fog lights, but there is no mention of fog lights on the car sticker and no button next to the steering wheel for fog lights. They are indeed just turn signals.

I have the same issue. Bought the true north package which includes fog lights but there doesn’t appear to be a switch that functions for the fog lights. Very strange. I’ll be asking the dealership next time I am there. To all the cheeky jerks on this thread, the lights are included, the manual shows a different control than what’s in my car but my package includes fog lights. Your snide remarks are not at all helpful.

I just purchased a used 2017 Equinox where the lower lights look like fog lights. No switch to turn fog lights on. Read where the Equinox may have LED daytime running lights. Had another person watch the lights when I put the vehicle in gear. The lights that look like fog lights turned on when I put in drive and when I turned the regular headlights on, they turned off. They are LED daytime running lights even though they look like fog lights.

They don't have fog lights on the lower trim. I have a 2018 Premier and it has the fog light switch next to the headlight switch. Now, I want to know why my headlights are LED, but the fog lights are halogen.

@Guru993X3P I wired them in through the turn signals and the daytime running LED to the headlight. Still working great to this day

I also bought a 2019 LT model and it appears it has fog lights but when I looked at the Equinox brochure it do not show the LT having fog lights only the Premier edition. I also spent time looking for a switch for what i assumed was fog lights.

Only if the vehicle came with the LT package with the driver convenient option I believe you also get electronic tailgate along with the fog lights the switch be next to the headlight switch. There should be a button if there’s not, then you’re not any fog lights does daytime running lights.
