I have a 97 Cougar Xr7 4.6L the obd
connector is not working it got coolant from
nleaking heater core in it,Will one from a 97
Vic wire right up or will it have to come from
a Cougar?

Why buy another? clean and dry it out. If there is no power to it, check the fuse, if it got wet like you said, it might have blown the fuse.

Hi Tom,i dont think that will work my son changed them out tried to put new pins on those small wires now some are out of position so I though be better just to wire one right up to the color codes wires on the car,I got one off crown vic but I found another off a 97 cougar in going to get it.
