I own a 1999 ford cougar and theres this tube coming from the intake manifold where I cant find a possible connection. Is this a problem? There is a photo attached. Please help, Thanks!!!!

Keep looking. Plug up the end of the hose if you can't find the connection so that you don't have a vacuum leak.

Also theres a gray vacuum line where does it go? il send a picture of the line tmr.

I have a 2002 Cougar 5-speed, V6 that is having a major oil problem. It's leaking on the motor & my tail pipe is completely black. Small small oil spots on the ground as soon as I put it in park but no major puddles. The smell is awful & it's smoking when I park it after driving it.
