The backup sensors im pretty sure. When you back up and are close to an object/wall, it should beep at you. The closer you get, the faster it beeps. The backup camera works in conjunction with it for added safety, but some people have the camera and not the added sensors. I love having it! Im not sure if yours if factory set to ON or OFF, but try backing up, if it beeps when youre close to an object/wall its on. When you don't want it to beep, hit the button to turn it off. It should automatically turn back on when you restart the car. hope this helps!
