2013 Chevy Cruze-Engine Power Reduced

SO... About three weeks ago my valve cover was replaced due to a leak... a
week later I am sitting in a drive-thru when the engine power reduced/service
stabilitrak/service traction control flashed across the screen as well as check
engine light. The code it through (i think p2138) said it was the accelerator
position sensor... aka gas pedal and sensor. That was replaced and it ran
fine until the next morning. It was wet out and it had came back on. After
trading cars for 1.5 weeks with my husband it did not happen again. This
morning it happened again... at 530 am in the pouring rain... Its very unsafe
seeing how I cannot use the gas pedal when this happens. 1mph is not a
safe speed to be forced to go just to merge onto the shoulder. I'm worried at
the reliability of my car at this point. I guess my question is this... all three
times it has happened it has been wet outside. Is it possible moisture could
be getting somewhere? I'm going to have the throttle body looked at... but
why is it fine for so long and then not?

My 2013 Chevy Cruze just said it’s Engine Powre is Educed. Traction light is also on. Help!
So I was told that my 2012 Chevy Cruze valve cover had a leak a few weeks ago. I haven't got it fixed yet. Well tonight out of nowhere, the engine power reduced message pops up and the stabilitrak message along with the check engine light, traction light and another check engine light that had a down arrow in the middle of it. It would not speed up, only go super slow. I turned the car off, restarted and it seemed fine, service engine light on, but once I accelerated it did the same thing. I went super slow so I could get it to a parking lot. So right now it's sitting in the middle of downtown. I'm hoping it doesn't get broke into before tomorrow. It's Sunday so dealerships are closed and most car shops so I may be out of luck unless I can find some info on the internet. Please help!!
My car snapped back to normal the next day. Weird....

Make sure the check valve in the intake manifold is there. It works like a PVC valve and can cause these issues
Chances are the battery needs to be replaced due to faulty negative or positive connections. I’ve had the same issue where it appeared and disappeared all within the same week, and then it would happen when I was on the highway having to quickly get off the road. My battery had a defect and was replaced by the dealership and I have not had a problem since. I would recommend getting it serviced as soon as possible because it will keep on happening until the battery is replaced. I hope this helps.
these cars are nothing but junk. Get rid of it. Buy a Japanese Honda or Toyota

My 2014 Cruze has done this about half a dozen times... always in heavy rain. It is extremely unsafe. Last time it happened on an expressway bridge right before I had to merge into 70 mph traffic. I was cursing out the Chevy engineers who thought it was a good idea to have the car screech to a halt with no opportunity to pull off the road. Asinine. Google search indicates lots of people have the same issue. Never seen a solution. Obviously, something isn't sealed properly, but what?
