CEL Flashing but runs fine

1996 Mazda Protege LX 1.5l Manual. The check engine light will come on at
higher RPM aftrr a few minutes of driving and start flashing then turn solid
after a few second. It has a P0301 code. I have replaced cap, rotor, and
wires. It does not lose any power or chug or feel like it is misfiring at all when
this occurs. I have cleared the code and driven it for 15-20 miles before i load
the engine a certain way and it sets the code. Going to check fuel tomorrow
but wondering if you had any ideas
