Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a hose that i am sure is a vacuum hose that is loose. I am trying to find where to hook it back up. It is making a whistling sound when it runs like its sucking air but I just cant seem to find it. The end that is attached is by the battery.

    i just took it for a test drive and now my temp gauge will start to go way up towards the h then it would go back down to the middle then back up then back down.
