Epc light coming on immediately after check engine light on

This a.m. for the 1st time my check engine
light came on & immediately afterwards the
EPC light came on & engine started shaking
so I shut engine off & re started & EPC light
never came back on & engine runs normal
however the check engine light has stayed
on. I took it to Auto Zone & put on computer &
it read misfire in cyl 1 & 2 can the needed
spark plugs be causing this?

Spark plugs, coils, injectors, compression and more. Start with plugs and test coils. If plugs are old change all of them. You can mark and move coils to other cylinders to see if misfire moves. If it does you have bad coils.
