Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Do you guys think the extended warranty for $2238
is worth it? It's 7 years or 200000kms.
I know me and my dad can fix the mechanical
issues of the car and buy our own parts for
cheaper to fix it but I'm worried about the
electronics, were not to good with them and im not
sure how expensive fixing electronic issues will
get.. Do you think the average person would use
over 2000 in repairs in 7 years or should I risk it
and pay out of pocket for repairs?
If I'm spending this type of money for a new car I
will be doing oil changes when I should and treat
the car good.
Thanks for any help!

It would be a waste of money in my opinion. Save the money for repairs instead.

What warranty does it come with? Will you want to keep it beyond that? Shop around for the warranty. If that price is from the new car dealer you can get a much better price from them

its definitely worth it. You won't put the money away, so you should plan for it somehow. the cars are basically computer on wheels these days - don't expect it to last 6 or 8 years without major component replacements.
