We have a 2000 Mazda Protegeg Es with 1.8. that will NOT start

The vehicle will crank and crank, but not spark. Vehicle HAs spark, new ignition module, crank and cam sensors.... Had a similar problem last year with broken timing belt tensioner spring that was causing it to lose spark. Any ideas?

im not sure if this model has the immobilizer system or not. but if that is not working properly the vehicle will not run. also check your egi fuse?
