My 1998 Ford Explorer Sport wont start. I initially thought i had run out of gas, we put gas and it still wouldnt start.

This probably is not the cause, but spend the twelve bucks and change the fuel filter it may never have been. Stop throwing money at the problem via hit and miss. Get a free loaner tool and check the fuel pressure with ignition on, engine off. Once fuel delivery has been eliminated, move on to electronic after checking the air filter and making sure it is not clogged.

Ok am working on a 1996 Ford explorer and put a new battery in it cuz wasn't getting no charge it started ...drove for awhile then once it stop it wudnt start or nothing no lights nothing wat wud it be ..

Wen it happened to me it was my alternator three times already I changed my alternator now I have to change my battery because the alternators done tour my battery up
