Roaring noise when accelerating

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car makes a strange roaring noise when accelerating,
it's a manual and it does it through every gear but does
occasionally stop, when it does stop you can hear it again
when the car hits a bump in the road almost like it's
straining the suspension? I'm currently under the
impression it's the driveshaft support bearing but idk

Did you figure out your problem? I’m having a similar thing happening in my 04 Mazda 3, manual transmission. I’m about to buy a new intermediate shaft assembly but want to make sure it will work before spending $2-300!
