98 ford expedition 5.4 has a stutter or miss from take off to 55 sometimes check engine light comes on..put a computer on it once said 02 sensor bad changed those..still misses
then computer says #3cyl  missfire...doesnt happen all the time just once in a while

Yes, I had same problem with a '96 Monte Carlo, a new set of plugs and wires cured it. What you're experiencing sounds like what my mechanic buddies and I call a "chuggle," a misfire under load that occurs intermittently.
