How can I play audio from an app on my iPhone? I
use the Waze application and want to play the voice
driving directions on my Forester.

For the record, I easily use Forester to dial phone numbers on my iPhone contact list and to listen/talk on phone calls. Thanks for your help.

The way to connect your phone to the radio is explained in the owners manual. We do this on our 2015 Forester with no issues and the instructions are in the manual.,
