Volve XC90 transmission issues

The vehicle will not move in drive or reverse. It acts like it is in neutral. It will move if using the manual shift mode.

Your shifter module needs to be replaced. Your shifter in ur center console has an electronic module which controls and sends a signal to ur transmission. Its all electronics. Replace all the electrical assembly including the solenoid.
