2018 Chevy Colorado 4x4 LT

Asked by Gizzyjo Aug 16, 2018 at 01:59 PM about the 2018 Chevrolet Colorado LT Crew Cab 4WD

Question type: General

Just purchased new 2018 Chevy Colorado 4x4 LT - after leaving the
dealership going down the highway this message popped up - SERVICE
4WD Dismiss It goes on and off intermittently as you are driving.
Problem is we don't live in the city that we bought the truck and we were half
way home otherwise we would have gone back.  We checked the knob with
the 2wd/4wd auto it was on 2wd.  Could a sensor be bad? Could it be stuck
in 4wd? Could it be something with the transmission?

Just curious what the result was of this? Same thing is happening to my truck. We’re you able to still drive until it was serviced?

Mines saying the same thing about 2 or 3 times now. Dealer ran diagnostics and found nothing. Keeping an eye in it as I have 10k miles and 8 months left on the warranty for that.
