Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi all,

I am currently in the process of buying a 1953 Chevrolet 3100 pickup.
I have inspected the bottom of the engine and noticed that the flywheel cover
is missing.. Please see picture attached. Would this be a dealbreaker? Is it
risky to keep driving the car without this cover? Hope anyone can help out
regarding this matter.

Thanks, AJ

That is not a deal breaker for me. You should be able to buy a used one or fabricate one. I would not drive it in the rain or in the dirt without the cover.
