I recently had my transmission torque converter replaced in my 1998 lincoln continental. I get it from the shop and my transmission completely goes out less than 10 after leaving the shop.

First off why did it need a torque converter? If it needed replaced the transmission would have been acting up. Sound like they did the incorrect diagnosis. This is not a maintenance item. 2 did u check to see if there was any fluid in it after it broke down? Maybe they will lower the cost of repair due to their negligence?
