cooling fan control

Okay, wait..I had that wrong. I am not sure if it does or not, but 2000 to 2002 Lincoln LS has a hydraulic pump driven fan, and there is a relay, under the hood in the fuse/relay box on the driver's side, just behind the battery. The lid of the box has the diagram of the fuses/relays. In this look at the part labeled C107 and c 105

for one the battery is in the trunk and fuse box is on passenger side

and you need manual for fuses its not labeled

Its not a fuse or relay Its ur cooling fan actuator it a plug on the back of the hydraulic pump Auto zone calls it cooling fan control

Does this actuator also cause the fan not to cut on

I replaced the actuator and the fam is still not ramping up

My 2000 linc town car is overheating. I have replaced the radiator cap and thermostat. I dont think the fan is coming on. Shouldnt the fan stay on after i turn motor off to cool motor? When i raised hood it wasnt on but antifteeze was coming out under cap and car was diffenently hot.

I am having the same problem right now with my 2000 Lincoln ls 3.9 liter v8 the code through temp control sensor my fan will not kick on so the car overheats when stopping when air is moving through the vehicle it drops question is does the temp control sensor affect the fan not coming on

I have been told it could be the actuator which allows the fluid to get to the pump of the fan or also could be the pump/motor on the fan as well. But when running the code it came up temp control sensor which is 60 dollars compared to like 400.00 so I am going to start by checking the temp sensor also the oil pressure switch I was told by ford for those that don’t know the temp control sensor is located on the block down by the oil filter right next to it is the oil pressure switch
