removing transmission

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Transmission seal on FWD is leaking....looking for any info on how to remove transmission from car...can the tranny be removed without pulling the engine?

you can remove it with the help of a 3 bar engine support (RSC and sunbelt rent them for around $50 a day) or support the engine from underneath with a floor jack and a block of wood.
