2001 Lincoln Navigator 4wd Air Suspension Conversion

Just converted a 2001 Lincoln Navigator 4WD to springs and spring over shocks from air suspension.  I am pleased with the outcome but my wife (primary driver) says the steering is too responsive now possibly causing over steer.  I don't find this to be the case.  The shop that performed the conversion advised that the steering of the vehicle may be partially controlled by the original air suspension control module, etc., and therefore, the suspension on/off switch should remain in the "On" position.  Is this true?

if the control factor is built in to all as a design, possibly yes if equipped with a form of stable trac.,maybe the sensitively felt is softer shocks causing a dip on quick turning, a steering stablelisr shock of heavier duty would hold from this sensation along with tire and wheel geometry adjustments to compensate road handling. if its worth going that far beyond a stiffer stabilization application

the air suspension switch has nothing to do with steering, it will not matter if it is on or off.

I did this conversion 3 years after the back suspension airbags failed. I felt it actually drove better. And yes the air suspension light has always stayed on. I do not worry about it because I know why it is on . The airbag suspension is gone. By the way this is a good fix for a bad idea of the air bags in the first place. onon
