Blendor , defrost Acuator

My air in my Lincoln ls 02  blows hot ,I went to
the car shop and they are charging me 900 to
—1,000$ to replace what they say is the
blendor and defrost acuator my compressor
come on but I’m confused on why they
charging me so much for a part that is 40$ at
autozone can anybody help me understand ?

n order to replace the part, your entire dashboard has to be removed and replaced. about 8 hours labor is needed to complete the project
