Can I buy a bcm and have him hook it up to
do the ac, (it's very hot in sacramento). And
I have a few other small issues that I think
is at fault like my windows are not rolling
up all the way without coming back down
by themselves (driver side only).and I have
a door sensor that says open door and
open lift gate that might be the bcm but
could be the switch??? Also I wanted to
know if and when I fix the ac will this also
correct the cooled seats??? Does it run off
the air conditioner??? Thankd

No, the seats do not run off the A/C. http://www.expeditionforum.com/f16/heating-cooling-seats-info-17480. Yeah I know it says expedition but it's the same for Lincoln and explains the seat cooling. There is a thermo-electric device (TED) located within each front seat cushion and backrest. The TED uses a ''Peltier'' circuit of P-type and N-type semiconductors connected in series using copper electrical conductors. Sandwiched between the semiconductors are insulating ceramic plates. When current is applied to the TED, one side releases energy as heat, while the opposite side absorbs energy and gets cold. By reversing the current flow, the hot and cold sides reverse. As for the rest of your question it very well could be the BCM

2003 lincoln navigator. i have a tapping noise coming from the rear end of the car it usually only happens when the car is in drive or reverse or taking tight turns at low speed and even sitting at idle at a stop light. It doesnt sound like a deep sound like one that would come from internals but rather like something is lose. is there any that is prone to come loose? right before i bought the car they had to air bag suspension replaced with normal suspension but it doesnt sound like its coming from the suspension 3 Answers
