Driver door open chime

My 2014 does it sporadically as well.

In my car I can switch off the chime by turning the headlight knob to "Auto".

When you put the key in the ignition the cylinder is depressed. If the cylinder does not pop back out when the key is removed, the chime will sound. Next time it happens when you remove the key, try pushing in the cylinder to see if it will pop out. The chime should stop when the cylinder pops out. Maybe a bit of dry lube spray would help?

My2019 Ecosport does it occasionally. I can’t figure out why. I’ve put my headlights on auto, checked parking break, checked to ensure I was in park, interior lights off.... not sure what else to check

Switching the headlight switch to "AUTO" (clockwise) did it for us. THANKS!
