Kia Sportage spark plugs

Asked by GuruQ2T3R Nov 23, 2019 at 07:16 PM about the 2002 Kia Sportage Base 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Plugs in oil. Romoved rear coil and plug boot. And
found plug is submerged in oil. This isn't correct? Is
it? Anyone have any idea what's going on? Oil level
checked out right. I'm just don't know

Since I do not know which engine your KIA has I can make a guess. If this engine has the plugs going through the valve cover the tube seals are bad. If not the valve cover gasket may be leaking.
