Question type: Maintenance & Repair

the rear brakes were replaced but the rotors were not turned. the guy said they were ok. it was doing this before rear brakes and wheel cylinder replaced. i replaced all four tires, some were bad, but they are not the same tires so i fear they dont match out and have been told I need to get all 4 tires and van aligned. But the terrible noise comes after the right wheel is sufficeintly heated and then it sounds like the van is just going to break down so I drive it slower and it does it much less

Ok thanks. The mechanic that changed the braked said the bearings were good for now. However I'm taking it to a tire shop soon to have them tell me what's wrong. I do notice the higher speeds affect it more adversely. If I drive only 35 or 40. And once the van drives over 13 mls it really does bad so more stress makes it worse.

I replaced all 4 tires and drove at good speed and the noise was not heard again to a couple days ago..always when I am rounding a curve or accelerating in a curve. I have come to think it is a wheel bearing that must be replaced on that side
