Are the cooling fans coming on? Does it have enough miles to warrant a bad water pump? Does it use coolant? My guess would be a worn water pump impeller in other words a bad pump. That cold thermostat will cause drivability problems down the road I think it should be 195 deg.

Have the charging system checked, the alternator may not be producing enough current at idle. Make sure they load test the system. Idle speed may also be to low that can be caus d by a TPS out if range or coolant temp sensor reading out of spec.
