ground clearance

Question type: General

what is ground clearance in inches

1 Answer

42,870

Most models of the Colorado show a ground clearance of 8 inches and I would guess the first thing to drag are the differentials. Remember that heavy loads and rugged terrain can change that by a couple inches. Some off road models have skid plates that protect stuff like aluminum transfer cases. Gasoline tanks and nicely mounted high near the mid section. Go to Edmunds.com for more specs like approach and departure angles...that's where you get hung up. Have fun....don't break it.
