Just bought a 04 Optima with only 29000 miles (old ladies car) The air bag light is on and was told I needed to reset it. How do I do this? Also I need to adjust the headlight on one side a little to the right. Again, how is this done. Thanks for any help.

I'm not sure about either of them since I've never had an Optima to look into these details, but I assume the airbag would need a scanner reset, which can be done at a dealer or at a local garage which has the Proxia/Lexia available. As for the headlamp, I honestly have no clue so I hope someone else here can help you. Sorry :)
Thanks. I solved the headlight aim problem. There are 2 spring wire clips that hold the bulb in place. One was not secured so I just secured it and the problem was fixed. Still worried about the airbag light though.
I have a 2001 Kia Optima and the airbag light was on. I don't remember how much it costs to repair, but I do know I had to bring it to the shop since it wouldn't pass inspection with it on. They charged me labor to investigate it, I do remember that and I think they just did something to turn off the light. At any rate, they never found the real problem and were stumped.
Same here. I have a 2004 Kia Optima and my ABS light came on and I was told by Auto Zone that I had to take it to the dealer. They only charged $27 to do whatever it is they did, but the light was back on about 3 mos later. It's still on and it did pass inspection.
