Alternator

Asked by GuruL9H2D Mar 20, 2019 at 07:14 PM about the 1997 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4-Door 4WD

The check gauges light came on my 1997 jeep Cherokee ,the volt gauge was
down on zero after the alternator was  rebuilt it charged good but than did it
again , l turned the switch of and restarted the jeep and it showed charging
but than went down again what can be the problem?
