What rotor / disk break setups are compatible to convert a 64 ford fairlane?

Asked by LuckyKe7in Apr 30, 2023 at 01:27 PM about the 1964 Ford Fairlane Sedan

Question type: Car Customization

I found info that the 65 mustang is, but I'm wondering if there are other models (or just general specs I can look up) to know what others will work? I'm looking to go to a parts yard and grab all the things I need.

In a video I saw someone using a set of 95 mustang rotors and calipers on that same 65 mustang (which seems compatible with my car), does this mean with a bracket on my fairlane, these would also work?

I suggest you go to a local ford owners Club and ask around. There are lots of guys who've done this, and they can provide direction. You could also google this and see instructional videos. Mustangs are popular for conversions, but other Fords, like Fairlanes, aren't.
