I'm looking to put a back seat in a 1999 F Explorer Sport, and need to know if a 1999 F Explorer XLT has the same bolt pattern; and'll fit.

Question type: General

We need 3 seat belts for the kids. A
guy said he'd sell me his for $30. He
also said the NUMBER of bolts were
the same. If u know another way, or
if this is good, please let us know.

well there the same year so i would think so, look for the mounts if there it can be done if they line up to the XLT. Tho i think the sports seats are smaller than my XLTs so look around alittle more or go to the junkyard and pull a seat from a 99 sport. Maybe someone else here could help you alittle more.

The seats should fit, but is the only problem the number of seatbelts? If that's the case purchase a set of seatbelts and install them. On second thought, you cannot purchase a set of belts for thirty bucks. May be the less expensive way out.
