Front Brakes

Could I block off the front passenger brake line and
still drive it temporarily?

It would be extremely dangerous. Most of your stopping power comes from the front brakes. With only one front brake the car will also pull very hard to the side. If whatever you used to cap the brake line fails, you'll lose all brake pressure. It's one thing to do this in order to move a vehicle around a yard or lot, but to put this on the public roads is nuts. Calipers and brake lines are not that expensive to make doing this ever worth it.
