Why doesn't the switches on driver side door work when I replaced them?

So I have a 2008 GMC Yukon Denali then
one Rainy Night the driver side door
control switches got too wet and they
fried on me so I bought a new control
module  for the door and I replace the
switches and they still don't work. So
what did I miss where did I go wrong is
there something that I'm overlooking if
somebody could help shoot me some
pointers, advice or anything that could
help me that would be greatly
appreciated. Thank you.

Check all the fuses and breakers, GM has a nasty habit of putting fuses under the dash and under the hood for the same circuit. Are you sure all the motors are good?
