Titles

Asked by Ryan Jun 24, 2019 at 01:46 AM about the 2003 GMC Yukon Denali AWD

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

Ok so I bought a brand new 2003 Gmc
Yukon denali  right off the lot in 2003 from
Ewing Buick gmc in Plano. I don’t want to
sell it yet but I am going to eventually, but I
never got the tittle to it even though I finished
paying the car off in 2007 but never got the
title and the car fax on it says it has a loan or
lean reported but can there be a loan or lean
on the car if it’s that old and I already finished
paying it off.

Check with your state Department of Motor Vehicle and request a duplicate title. If there really is still a lien on it, you will need to contact the bank or lender that has the lien. The bank should release the lien if the loan is paid off.
