Key will not go past accessory position

Asked by GuruD49HZB Jun 28, 2023 at 08:27 PM about the 2004 Honda Accord Coupe EX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just bought a 2004 Accord with 119,000 miles and runs great. No AC (yet).
Yesterday I firsts noticed that passenger window no longer worked and my
key was stuck. Won't go to off position unless I disconnect the battery.
Doesn't feel dirty or sloppy. Today I noticed that if I just put it in Accessory,
can turn the key off and pull out. However, if I turn it to On, key stays stuck at
Accessory.  Could this be an ignition switch problem?
