Look in your owners manual but that weight should not be a problem. You will need trailer brakes, a trailer brake controller and probably a weight distributing hitch.

The manual says that max towing is 4610lbs and the max pay load is 1880lbs. I am going to take it to uhual or weight station tomorrow to get exacts

It all depends on how your truck is equipped. Do you have a 6 cylinder under the hood?

1500
