Get the cap higher than the engine, add 50% coolant blend. get it filled and burped. leak test. retest for heating issue, and hot engine issue. Be sure cooling fan runs, switch and relay enable cooling fan. thermostat opens and you can feel upper rad hose gets warm and pressurized with cap on.

Did you find any issues there? coolant leak? hoses? waterpump and timing belt time ? if it is running full and heater hoses are same temp, check temp blend door for moving to warm, letting air pass over the heater. outside recirc is closed.
