what happens when you spin a bearing in the motor of a 2000 ford windstar

the van lost all te water and would not hold water and wouldnt start after

'Spin a bearing' usually means one of the connecting rods on the crankshaft end the bearing has, well... spun..and there will be play between the rod cap and crankshaft, you would hear this knocking,. Has nothing to do with water/coolant..unless...possibly a head gasket has gotten water in oil and lack of lubrication caused it to spin. If it does not even crank over, pull all spark plugs and then see if it cranks. Have a helper watch and see if coolant shoots out a plug-hole, If that happens, it was hydro-locked and has blown a head gasket
