Is my Isuzu Trooper worth fixing

Asked by Nicole Nov 04, 2020 at 07:16 PM about the 2000 Isuzu Trooper 4 Dr S 4WD SUV

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had the ignition coils and plugs changed on my Trooper
cause I thought I needed a tune up it started driving a little
rough misfiring when started  not picking up speed engine
light on. Now I'm told I need to change timing belt. Is it
worth trying to get it fixed. It has over 151000 miles on it.
And my other concern would be the price of getting it
fixed.

If you like driving the truck, then fix it, if you hate driving it, time to scrap it. It is not worth putting money into it if you think you can recoup the money, you can't. Only repair if you don't want another vehicle and or car payment.
