Our 2000 Taurus's wheel feel off while driving on Freeway. Is this common?

Asked by BillyB1951 Dec 18, 2008 at 12:21 PM about the 2000 Ford Taurus SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

In casual discussions we have discovered two others with the same horrible experience.  Is this a common problem, and has anyone explored solutions/options?

Shouldn't be common. My only thought is people didn't properly torque the lug nuts when putting a wheel back on. Simple as that.

Absolutely should not be a common issue. The Taurus tends to be a pretty solid car.
