Cabin filter inlet

Asked by bri_g35 Jun 12, 2015 at 12:08 PM about the 2005 INFINITI G35 Coupe RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just bought a 2005 g35 coupe, I was checking out the battery and noticed I can see the
cabin filter through the fresh air inlet on the firewall. It just seems odd that Infiniti would
have the fresh air exposed to the battery, has anyone else noticed this? Could I be
missing a plastic piece that blocks off the inlet to the battery?
