CeL on the dashboard says
the car is hot temp gauge is
pegged on cold and the
engine can is running and I
can stick my fingers in the
coolant tank and the is warm
it the most maybe 90 or 100
degrees anyone else had this
problem

Check the engine coolant temp sensor (ECT). If you have a meter they can be tested, just google a how to. You most likely have two temp sensors, one for the dash gauge, and another (the ECT) for the engine computer.

I changed the engine temp sending unit and still have the same problem any idea where there might be another sending unit or sensor
