Radio

Asked by Jerry9885 Jan 21, 2018 at 04:55 PM about the 2003 Hyundai Tiburon GT FWD

Question type: General

Okay so I recently went to a scrap yard and picked
up a stock tiburon stereo from an 06 tib 2.0. I'm
trying to put it in my 03 2.7, is there a reason why
the stereo when hooked up, turns on but does not
have any audio output. I'm able to channel search
and scan for radio channels but there is no audio.
are the wiring harnesses different?

I'm having the same issue. But when the actual stick radio was removed theycut my wiring harness clip off. So i went ti the scrap yard and got another infinity with the wiring clip and soldered all the corrent wires together. I have power now, but absolutely NO audio. I'm stumped and thinking the actual AMP in the back under the panel of the backseat is bad. Could that be possible?
