2001 c240 vacuum. leak and horrible gas mileage

my 2001 c240 reads 0.00 when the MAP should read 14.4 to 14.8 and everything ive tried has not helped. and there is a hissing noise on the driver side near engine and when i put just some slight pressure on the steering wheel the noise goes away

your absolutely right about it being related to the power steering it just recently had a truck back into the front end of the car. i just. had someone check it out and their recommendation was to replace a specific hose connected to the power steering
