transimission and starting problem

When i turn my key to second position ready to start the engine , i have noticed
that when my LCD does not show that  the gear lever is in park position the car
wont start ,but if it shows a P to show that the gear lever is in parking position
the car will definitely start. Sometimes when the gear lever is in park position
the LCD will show R (reverse) and when that happens again it wont start

Your LCD Display is defective and it's fading. You can buy one and change it or send in your cluster to have it repaired. Look on ebay for the part or repair service.
