Car dies

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car won't crank after putting
gas In it and dies while driving
replaced fuel filter not sure
what else to try any ideas would
be appreciated!

I had that problem on my 03 and after spending hundreds of dollars it needed a new gas cap! Boy did I feel stupid. Not saying that's what is the problem with your car but it is cheap to try it.

Hook up a fuel pressure gauge? Scan it first see if you got codes ? Check for crank sensor signal. Spark.
