Question type: Maintenance & Repair

and the car only has 35K miles. Before I have the Hyundai dealer replace them at an exorbitant price, I want to be sure that the bulbs are the problem and not something else. Any ides?

it seems hard to believe that both would go out at the same time, first fuses, then wires running along the bumper also a multi meter on the bulbs will give you a reading of low meaning they are good or high or infinante would be bad bulbs. maybe this will save you a trip to mechanics.

It is not uncommon that lightbulbs burn out on Hyundais. We occasionally change them, so there is a very big chance that the bulbs are just simply burnt. If they are 194's, then they are very inexpensive. Burnt lights tend to look silver or black. You will even notice that the filaments are no longer intact.
